Mindy S. Rodney is a graduate of the Ohio State University School of Law and has been practicing exclusively in the area of Immigration & Nationality Law for over 35 years. She is Florida Bar Certified as an expert in Immigration & Nationality law and practices throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Mindy has been named to "Law and Leading Attorneys," lectures at the Asian Festival, has regular speaking engagements with various religious groups and other organizations and has appeared in the newspaper and on the radio discussing immigration-related topics. Mindy's areas of concentration include employment-based (temporary and permanent) and family-based visas.
Carol A. Bernstein is Board Certified in Immigration & Nationality Law by the Florida Bar. She started with the firm almost 20 years ago after a 15-year career in banking operations and insurance marketing. Carol has been invited to speak on U.S. Immigration Law at various universities, community organizations, and religious organizations.
Carol earned her Bachelor of Science, with Honors, from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor, with Honors, from the University of Miami School of Law. Carol's areas of concentration include employment-based (temporary and permanent) and family-based visas. She is a native of Miami and speaks English and Spanish.
Daniel J. Koosed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University in 2008 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2012.
Daniel has been practicing immigration law with Rodney & Bernstein, P.A. since 2012. His areas of concentration include H-1B visas, employment-based green card interviews and I-601 Waivers of Inadmissibility. Prior to graduation, Daniel was a Judicial Clerk at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania and his research has been published in the University of Miami School of Law International & Comparative Law Review and Caribbean Law Yearbook.
Mattia S. Cortesi earned his Juris Doctor (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza) from the University of Milan - Bicocca in 2013 and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Florida International University - College of Law in 2015. After presenting his dissertation in Comparative Law on the evolution of Federalism in the US, Mattia gathered life experience in London, UK and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he was an International Intern for a large law group handling corporate and transactional matters.
Prior to entering the realm of Immigration Law, Mattia also gained Law Clerk experience in the Criminal Defense arena. Mattia's expertise include extensive familiarity with business & employment-related visa petitions, family-based visa & naturalization matters, I-601 waivers of inadmissibility and congressional inquiries. Mattia is also fluent in Italian and Spanish.
